I was seen today by Riem Johnson at the Fracture and Orthopaedic Clinic at the Royal Sussex Hospital Brighton. Mrs Johnson was highly professional, caring, knowledgeable and kind and took time to explain to me how to proceed with everyday care of my arm/wrist. I was highly impressed with my care and feel strongly that recognition of this quality of care is vital for the health service to survive. The nurse called Jamila also looked after me and she demonstrated excellent people skills as well as care skills. Thank you so much to both

Mrs Riem Johnson carried out carpal tunnel decompressions on both my wrists; the first in March this year and the second in July. On both occasions she explained the procedure to me very clearly and answered my questions readily. She spelled out the attendant risks associated with the surgery. Mrs Johnson has a very calm, friendly and reassuring manner. On the second occasion she was supervising Dr Young Seck Cho. The surgery went smoothly both times and I recovered rapidly after both procedures. The scarring is minimal and the movement in my hands has returned well. I would have absolute confidence in Mrs Johnson if I ever needed any further interventions.
